The Water Onion Plant (Zephyranthes candid) is a unique bulb plant from South America. It resembles a scallion onion plant and produces a lovely white flower when allowed to grow out of the water and bloom. It can also be kept in fully aquatic conditions and will form a wide mat under steady conditions.

The Water Onion Plant can develop a strong root structure, so it will benefit from nutrient-rich substrate.
