Garra flavatra, commonly known as the Panda Garra, is a peaceful, omnivorous fish from Southeast Asia, recognized for its distinctive panda-like dark stripes and yellow bands. These active bottom-dwellers are excellent algae eaters but also consume small invertebrates and require a varied diet. They thrive in tanks with high water flow, rocky substrates, and bright lighting to promote algae growth. While generally peaceful, they can be territorial, especially towards their own kind, and are best kept in groups of four or more in a tank of at least 30 gallonS.
