Pomacea bridgesii, commonly known as the Mystery Snail are safe for planted aquariums and are easy to care for, requiring stable water conditions and a calcium-rich diet.

They grow to a maximum diameter of about 2 to 2.5 inches.

Mystery snails are peaceful, active, and explore the entire aquarium. They use a siphon to breathe air from the surface. They lay eggs in clutches above the waterline, which makes population control very easy.

Tank Size: A minimum of 5 gallons is recommended for a single snail. 

Water Parameters: They prefer stable freshwater with a pH between 7.0 and 8.0 and a temperature of 68–82°F (20–28°C). 

Diet: They are herbivores that eat algae, biofilm, leftover fish food, and blanched vegetables like zucchini and spinach. 

Calcium: A calcium-rich environment is essential for maintaining a healthy shell.
